My parents' wedding day. Pictured are Lola Pauline Sutherland and Floyd Emerson Workman.
Painting by Robert Griffing called "Uncharted", showing Lenape Indian Nemacolin (4th great grandfather) leading a party through the wilderness. Animation kindly supplied by Leslie Vye-Parminter. Thank you, Les!
This site contains everything I know about my family, everything I think I know, and probably a lot of myths, legends, and outright lies. My sources range from excellent to dubious. I keep the latter down by not citing such things as the LDS Ancestral File, World Family Tree volumes, other people's unsourced gedcoms, and e-mails from Aunt Hattie. Unsourced data here should be regarded as speculative at best. Unfortunately, TribalPages does not list all sources. I have multiple sources for many people. All of that can be seen on my Rootsweb/Ancestry.com file: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=workman_family&I11.x=36&I11.y=11 My favorite thing in genealogy is connecting with others, no matter how remote the kinship. Contact me for corrections, additions, or just commiseration about our mutual brick walls. Please note: The "password" is wonder. I want everything on this site available to everyone. If you sign my guest book, you will make my day.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
